Japan advertising poster for UNITED Airlines, USA, 2004

'I created an enticing image of traditional Japan, for a contemporary series of travel posters for the airline. I focused on the summer festival, with its colourful lanterns and relaxed atmosphere. Using etching, I created the feeling of a ukiyoe print.'
