‘In the Kitchen Cupboard’ permanent interior designs for Cheung Sha Wan MTR underground station, Hong Kong, 2003
'I created artwork for the renovation of the entire station in this residential
area. I gave it a homely, playful feel to reflect this, with interpretations
of objects found in local kitchens, such as ceramic spoons, teapots and bowls.
I like to hear people say “meet you by the big teacup” rather than “at exit
A3”. '
