I visited the WMO headquarters in Geneva with the COPE team to meet the Secretary General and the Disaster Risk Reduction team there. We are very proud to have the WMO as advisors for our books.

storm drains murals

Two of my designs have been chosen as murals for the City of Burlingame’s storm drains - they will be amongst a selection of murals that will raise awareness that storm water is not treated, and that everything that goes into the drains will wash out into the San Francisco Bay.

You can find out more about the initiative here.

Juried show opportunity

St Lawrence University is having an open call for mokuhanga printmaking works for a juried show to be held later this year. As part of the collective Mokuhanga Sisters I’ll be one of the jurors.

Richard F. Brush Gallery + mokuhanga print by Lucy May Schofield

The Richard F. Brush Art Gallery at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, announces a call for entry for original prints with an emphasis on mokuhanga.

The exhibition will be juried by The Mokuhanga Sisters, a print collective of nine international artists bound together by their love for mokuhanga.

All accepted works must utilize mokuhanga as the primary medium.  Small 3-d works and artist's books that utilize mokuhanga will also be considered; these accepted works may be displayed in glass exhibition cases.

The exhibition will run from September 12 through October 8, 2022.

All applications must be submitted via callforentry.org.

This juried exhibition is open to all international artists.  Work should have been created in the past 5 years.  There is no fee to apply.
